Khalifa University was established in February 2007 by a decree issued by the UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan to complement Abu Dhabi’s 2030 vision.

Khalifa University (including graduates of Etisalat College of Engineering) has 614 registered alumni. Alumni events and updates are organized by the Khalifa University Alumni Association.

Khalifa University has two libraries located at both its Abu Dhabi and Sharjah campuses. With over 45,000 books in their collections, the libraries also have an extensive collection of journals and periodicals that are accessible by the entire Khalifa University community.
