E-Library Trial!
Beginning in late October 2010, Etisalat, Khalifa University & EBTIC began an e-Library trial within the Abu Dhabi campus. The aim of the e-Library Service is to enable students and faculty to read e-resources (books and lecture notes) on any portable device such as laptops, mobiles, or e-readers. This is a pilot case study for the UAE region with regard to adoption of such technology.
The e-Library trial is completely FREE, including associated mobile data traffic charges. Prize incentives for participation will be offered. You are invited to participate.
Participation is easy. Just send a completed Registration Form to Library Services at eLibrary@kustar.ac.ae or take it to the Library Circulation Desk. Copies of the form are also available in the Library. The sooner registrations are received, the sooner access accounts will be created.
