Students Council

The purpose of the Student Council Khalifa University is to provide the student body with a common platform that aims at promoting interaction among students and the university body.  The Student Council works closely with the Office of Student Affairs to foster a spirit of community, understanding, and harmony throughout the campus. The Council also aims to provide students with unique opportunities to develop life skills and leadership qualities by organizing activities and hosting events of interest to the students.

Student Council Objectives:

  • To create a collaborative, caring, and participative work environment.
  • To enhance the educational, physical, social and emotional well-being of students.
  • To provide students with a platform to voice their views and facilitate action from the campus administration on any issues, needs and concerns.
  • To provide a link between the student body and University Management.
  • To encourage participation in extracurricular activities.
  • To coordinate university events involving the campus community, such as National Day celebrations and Open Day.
  • To organize clubs, field trips, workshops and competitions.
  • To provide opportunities for students to develop life skills.
  • To develop leadership skills.
