Welcome to MAC2008
The Mobile Phone Application Contest is a yearly contest which focuses on building mobile phone applications that are original and culturally-focused. The contest provides an excellent opportunity for students majoring in Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, and Telecommunications to show their skills in developing mobile applications, and to meet students from other UAE and Arab and North African institutions. A two-day training session in developing mobile applications through Java 2 Micro Edition will be offered free of charge for one student from each registered team. This year, the event is sponsored by Telecommunications Regulatory Authority in collaboration with Etisalat Corporation and and organized by the Computer Engineering Departments of Khalifa University of Science, Technology and Research (Former Etisalat University College) and American University in Dubai.
