Nanotechnology Centre
Nanotechnology research continues to steadily grow around the world as both academics and industry professionals investigate new ways of developing superior structures by manipulation of nano-meter-length atoms and molecules. Nanotechnology is expected to emerge as a strategic branch of science and engineering, fundamentally restructuring technologies used for manufacturing, medicine, defence, energy production, environmental management, transportation, communication, computation, and education, to mention a few.
The aim of the KUSTAR's Nanotechnology Centeris to play a leading role in the establishment of nanotechnology research, development, and industry in Abu Dhabi and the UAE. The centre will be dedicated to research on theoretical and experimental nanotechnology with strong emphasis on education and training.
