Dr. Kucukalic is a former professional swimmer and national champion of the former Yugoslavia, She translates her resolute drive into the classroom by motivating and challenging her students to thrive and excel academically and professionally. Before coming to Khalifa University, Dr. Kucukalic taught at Columbia University (USA) andUniversity of California at Los Angeles (USA).
