Research Partnerships

The University's mission, by working closely with its strategic and collaborative partners and community stakeholders, is to drive science and technology learning and to focus on investigating issues relevant to the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the UAE industry/government needs and technological advancement.

Critical to its success as a research organization, the University’s local research partners are key industrial/government constituents of the Abu Dhabi ecosystem. They participate and support the University’s research communities with the definition of realistic research initiatives and the formation of value-add research and innovation centers. This allows the University and its research partner to have an interactive hands-on partnership that is committed to achieving research milestones of mutually defined strategic outcomes. Sample of such established research and innovation centers include the:

  • Etisalat BT Innovation Centre (EBTIC)
  • ANKABUT
  • Aerospace Research and Innovation Center
  • ATIC-KUSTAR Semiconductor Research & Development Center

Utilizing its R&D Enterprise and Research Groups, the University is committed to establishing strong research & development (R&D) partner relationships, building strong community relationships, developing high-value solutions, and leveraging R&D results to create profitable commercial outcomes, collaborative technology transfer process, and local talent know-how development.
