Student Life
At the Khalifa University of Science, Technology and Research much emphasis has been placed on student welfare by providing students with a number of facilities and services. The Student Affairs Office has five full-time professional staff providing services and advice on admission, tuition and fees, accommodation, catering, social, sporting and cultural activities.KUSTAR also encourages students to participate in the organisation of their own activities. For this purpose a number of students committees have been formed including a cultural committee, a sports committee, a scientific committee and a social committee. These committees are in addition to the technical clubs that KUSTAR supports, which include Electronic Art Club, Spark Electronics Club and Click Club. The clubs give the students the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and realise their engineering hobbies in an informal environment.
